You may have noticed that the Le Roy Family photo with tents around a pool has disappeared from the front entrance to the Birkenhead library.
The original photo had been digitised and the digital print was fading in the sun.
So it's been put in storage while the librarian decides what to do next.
They could either keep displaying the digital print where it is until a reprint is needed. Or they could rotate and display the photo a couple of times a year (Heritage Festival Month, Family History Month, etc) and extend the longevity of the digital print.
